Terms of Service

1. Who we are

linktoretro is operated by Pavel Havlíček (“we”, “us”), a sole trader (fyzická osoba podnikající) registered in the Trade Register (živnostenský rejstřík) since September 27, 2018.

By using linktoretro you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

linktoretro lets you create simple retrospective boards. Anyone with a board’s link can view it, add cards and like cards. You do not need an account to create or use a board.

• Free boards are available for 28 days after they are created. After that they are depublished and can no longer be opened via the link.
• Signed-in users (Google sign-in) can see a list of the boards they created.
• Pro subscribers get the additional features described on the home page, such as unlimited board life, publishing control and board management.

3. Board links and content

A board is accessible to anyone who has its link. Do not post confidential, personal or sensitive information you would not want others with the link to see. Cards are anonymous; we do not record who wrote them, which also means we cannot tell you who wrote a card.

You are responsible for the content you add. You must not post content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, harasses others, or contains malware or spam. We may remove content or boards that break these rules or the law.

You keep any rights you have in your content and give us the permission needed to store and display it to run the service.

4. Pro subscription and payment

• Pro costs USD 9 per month, billed monthly in advance. Prices exclude VAT and other sales taxes; applicable taxes are calculated based on your location, added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
• The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time in your account. Cancelling ends Pro immediately; from that day all your boards stay available for another 28 days and are then depublished. Boards that were already depublished become available again for those 28 days.
• If you subscribe again later, all your boards — including depublished ones — become available again with unlimited life.

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the Pro subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason by contacting us at linktoretro@gmail.com. Because Pro starts immediately at your request, we will refund the amount paid reduced by the part corresponding to the time you already used.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep linktoretro available, but we provide it “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that data will never be lost. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Pro, we will tell subscribers in advance and stop future charges.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data or profit. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes for Pro subscribers will be announced in advance. See also our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
